Wellbeing workshops and programmes
Did you know that there are 7 areas of wellbeing? These are mental, physical, social, financial, spiritual, environmental, and vocational. These dimensions are interdependent and influence each other. When one dimension of our well-being is out of balance, the other dimensions are affected.
Five Senses Therapy is here to support your organisation’s well-being agenda. Whether you are looking to kick start an internal programme or enhance your current offering, we work with you to develop a tailored workshop or programme.
Supporting your staff’s wellbeing not only benefits the individual, it enhances morale, loyalty, commitment, innovation, productivity and profitability. It is a win win for you and your team!
Wellbeing Workshops (up to 40 people)
My workshops are adaptable solutions that can be flexed to fit your aims and slotted into the day when physical constraints like time can be a consideration. Working with you I will design a session that focuses on balance, stress and relaxation. Drawing on the practice of meditation, breath work senses and body work, participants will feel able and safe to relax, switch off and connect body with mind and self with others.
These workshops encourage self care, self awareness and self compassion.
Recent case study | Moorfields NIHR Bio Medical Research Centre
Working with Moorfields NIHR Bio Medical Research Centre I delivered a breath workshop to create pause for participants at the 2022 Bloomsbury Arts Festival. The workshop looked at breath techniques and meditation that support everyday life.
Wellbeing Programmes
The Five Senses Therapy Wellbeing programme is an exploration of alternative therapies. In turn the fundamental aspects and teachings of the leading alternative therapies are introduced enabling participants to experience a range of practice and build an individual wellbeing kit that works for them.
Amongst others we look at breath, exercise and through circle work we explore connection. These are three central areas of any sustainable self care routine.
The programme runs over 7 sessions and is tailored to the needs of the organisation.
Recent case study | Esme’s Umbrella
Working with Esme’s Umbrella I designed a programme to support those living with Charles Bonnet Syndrome. Drawing on my own experience of the condition and knowledge of alternative therapies, the seven week programme delivered an immersive experience that developed knowledge and understanding of CBS, supported participants to think about the notion of acceptance and what this means to them and signposted and enabled participation in a range of therapies to identify management the condition. programme that encourages, uplifts and shares knowledge and tools for the individual to take away to continue their own growth on their journey.
