I offer 45- 60- and 90- minute appointments which include time for a consultation (that doesn’t eat into your treatment time) so we can discuss your needs and wellbeing priorities and decide on the most appropriate complimentary therapy. This approach ensures that each visit is centred around your needs at that moment and enables me to best support you.

A 45 minute appointment is £35, a 60 minute appointment is £45 and a 90 minute appointment is £65.

Frequently asked questions…

Q: How often should I get a massage?

It depends on what you are looking for. Every 3 to 6 weeks will provide general relaxation. To address a particular condition I may recommend more frequent visits at first and then slowly taper down to a maintenance schedule. We shall discuss this in your consultation.

Q: Can I talk during my treatment?

Of course! Many people start off talking then enter a quiet state of relaxation. The important thing is to speak up if you’d like anything to be different.

Q: How will I feel after my treatment?

Most people feel relaxed and experience relief from aches and pains. Some feel stillness and then notice an increase in energy and awareness. After a deep tissue massage you can feel a little sore, much like a good work out.

Q: When should I not get a massage?

Please do not attend if you have a high fever, cold/flu or contagious skin condition. I may adapt the technique for conditions like arthritis and osteoporosis or if you have a cut or burn this area would be avoided. If you are unsure speak to your doctor first.

Q: Can I wait for a friend whilst they have a massage?

My treatment room is a garden room and I do not have a waiting area. Friends can wait on my decking area whether permitting. There is a lovely cafe on the corner of my road, less than a minute walk.

Q: Is there parking?

You can park on the road and I have a drive which if it is empty you are welcome to use for the duration of your treatment.

Q: Will the massage hurt?

I will always adjust the pressure to work for your benefit. A massage should stay in what I call the ‘feels good pain range. The most effective massage works with your bodies natural response and not against it.

Q: Can I drink alcohol during or after the treatment?

To get the most benefit from the treatment it is best to avoid alcohol after your treatment. I can’t treat you if you turn up under the influence.
